My boss bought the same car for his wife. It is a very good car indeed.

Mid-life Crisis?

I am very close to middle age. I am at the age where I should be winding down on a long career instead of starting a new one. That is not to be. I have my dreams that remain unfulfilled, places to go, things to do and of course, debts (what else is new?) to pay!

I believe I am well-connected, with a large network of friends, former colleagues, superiors and what-nots! I am making use of these connections and networks, to achieve my targets; professionally and personally. I do not believe I should use these contacts to spite those, whom has made my life miserable, so that they have a taste of their own medicine. As the saying goes, what goes around, comes around!

I am thankful of what I have gotten so far, 5 bright kids, a caring and loving significant other and a life full of ups and downs. The second chance that I had been blessed with, after having endured heart attack and the subsequent by-pass surgery, will not be wasted. I intend to live my life to the fullest.

So what is this about mid-life crisis? Am I having one?
